Welcome to the Smart and Adaptive Materials (SAM) research group led by Prof. Jaejun Lee at Pusan National University, Busan, Republic of Korea
The SAM Research Group explores responsive material systems whose properties can be regulated by external stimuli including mechanical force, light, and temperature. We aim to apply these materials to diverse application areas such as stress wave (shock) damping, force sensing, light-responsive polymers, and micro/nano patterning. The core values of the group include curiosity, interdisciplinarity, collaboration, diversity and inclusion.
Jul 2023 - Hyemi Lee, Hyunji Seok, and Yunyoung Choi joined the group as an undergraduate student.
Mar 2023 - Junseo Shin, Hyeokje Kwon, and Sehui Ah joined the group as an undergraduate student.
Mar 2023 - Gyeongmin Park, Hyejin Kim, and Siwoo Kim joined the group as a MS graduate student.
Feb 2023 - Junwoo Park will start his Bachelor-Master degree program in our group.
